Content-to-screen workflow

Build the message, schedule it, send it, verify it.

From one display to a grouped screen network, the publishing process stays clear and repeatable.

01

Prepare media

Upload and validate images, videos, URLs or approved templates for the intended screen format.

02

Arrange playlists

Order content into playlists and nested playlist structures, with duration and playback options where supported.

03

Schedule & assign

Apply time and condition rules, then assign the publication to an individual display or a group for a hotel area.

04

Publish & review

Send updates to compatible players and inspect available connection, cache, playback and report information.

The operating console

Manage the screen network—not just the artwork.

Representative product-interface screens below use sample content. They show the workspaces used to plan publications and monitor devices.

These are product-interface examples with test records, not live hotel screen status or verified performance metrics.

Platform capabilities

One publishing layer, with operational controls around it.

The platform brings media, screen assignment, player status and reporting together for hospitality teams.

01 / MEDIA

Media library & validation

Organise images, video, URLs and approved template content. Inspect player suitability and video thumbnail or codec information before publishing.

02 / PLAYLISTS

Ordered, reusable content

Create playlists, build nested playlist structures and control the sequence and supported playback options for a display or screen group.

03 / SCHEDULING

Time and condition rules

Change content by day, time, area or operation schedule—for example a morning breakfast menu, a daytime facilities message and an evening event programme.

04 / DEVICE GROUPS

Area-based publishing

Assign distinct publication flows to the lobby, restaurants, spa, meeting floors, event foyers or other hotel screen groups.

05 / PLAYER OPERATIONS

Remote status and device actions

Review connection, cache, playback and player-version status. Supported operations include refresh, cache clear, app restart, reboot and update checks, subject to the player’s permissions.

06 / REPORTING

Playback evidence & issue visibility

Use available proof-of-play, uptime and error-centre information to check whether content reached the intended player. Report exports and some modules depend on the selected scope.

Player and hosting options

Fit the deployment to the hotel’s screen estate.

Choose endpoints and server model during project planning; the right combination depends on the existing displays and network.

SUPPORTED PLAYER PATHS

Compatible screens and controllers

  • Samsung Tizen / SSSP professional displays
  • Browser-based web player environments such as Chrome or Edge
  • Android player preparation, depending on the player build and project
  • NovaStar LED control when the relevant module and hardware are in scope

DEPLOYMENT MODEL

Cloud or local-server setup

  • Player package prepared for the target environment where required
  • Screen groups, customer separation and licenses configured to the agreed service model

Core vs. optional scope

Know what is standard and what is a project module.

Core publication tools are separated from premium content editors, external feeds and specialist hardware integrations.

CORE PUBLISHING

Day-to-day screen management

  • Media upload, playlists, scheduling and display assignment
  • Screen groups, player connection and available cache/status checks
  • Compatible Samsung Tizen/SSSP and web-player publication paths
  • Cloud or local-server deployment planning

OPTIONAL / PREMIUM MODULES

Activated by project scope

  • Advanced live CMS/editor with layered scenes, text, imagery, QR, clock or ticker
  • Google Drive/Sheets, RSS, weather, YouTube/HLS or Power BI data sources
  • Interactive touch-kiosk experiences
  • NovaStar discovery and LED operations module
  • Advanced report export and other customer-specific integrations

Premium modules are not enabled for every customer by default. Device compatibility, licensing, player packaging and external integrations are confirmed before deployment.

Common questions

Digital signage for hospitality teams.

Can different hotel areas show different content?

Yes. Screen groups can separate areas such as the lobby, floors, restaurant, spa and event venues, with playlists assigned to the intended displays.

Can content change by time of day?

Yes. Scheduling rules can be used for daypart and special-date flows, subject to the chosen setup and player support.

What happens if network access drops?

Offline cache is supported on suitable player paths. The cached media and cache status depend on the device and its configuration.

Are all CMS and data integrations included?

No. Advanced live CMS, data-source integrations, touch-kiosk features, NovaStar and some export/report modules are offered as scoped optional modules.

Can we verify what a display played?

Available playback records, proof-of-play and uptime or error information can be reviewed; report details and exports depend on the modules selected.

Does every display require new hardware?

Not necessarily. Supported Tizen displays and web players may use existing compatible hardware. Device model and operating environment are checked during planning.
